About the Show:
Californication is a television series that follows the life of Hank Moody who is a famed novelist and New York City transplant who was relocated to LA after his acclaimed book was optioned for a movie. Since then he’s juggled the demands of Hollywood with the desire to write his own material, all the while performing a complicated dance with on-again/off-again girlfriend Karen and raising his rebellious daughter Becca. But he never stops owning his vices — drink, drugs and women — with a refreshing sense of honesty and unapologetic candor. He’s holding it together while falling apart, and he doesn’t mind it one bit. Stars David Duchovny as Hank, Natascha McElhone as Karen van der Beek, Pamela Adlon as Marcy Runkle, Madeleine Martin as Rebecca “Becca” Moody, Evan Handler as Charlie Runkle and Madeline Zima as Mia Lewis (pen name Mia Cross) .
