She is an educated mother from New York who does her best in order to raise a son she never really wanted in the first place. When she met Franklin, she fell in love immediately and after an unexpected pregnancy, she struggled with her worth and abilities as a mother because she didn’t know what to do, especially when it turns out that their son, Kevin, exhibits sociopathic tendencies when he was a disturbed teenager and ended up being involved on a killing spree at his high school with a crossbow.
