If you seek pleasure in hearing ghost stories and anything that goes bump into the night, another horror thriller film that you will surely like is The Ward movie. The upcoming 2011 thriller film is bound for release on July 8, 2011 and centers on an institutionalized young woman who becomes terrorized or haunted by a hidden identity, most probably a ghost.

From the directorial expertise of John Carpenter as he directed the script written by Michael Rasmussen and Shawn Rasmussen, the cast includes a star-studded list with Amber Heard, Danielle Panabaker, Lyndsy Fonsecadu, Marnie Gummer and Mika Boorem on the group.

The lead role of Kristen in the film is being played by Amber Heard as she stars as a young woman who will be trapped in a mental institution with a mysterious and malevolent ghost surrounding and haunting her. Of course, thinking that she was just having some visual and auditory hallucinations playing in her mind, the health care providers inside the institution ignore everything that she says. Now, as danger gets closer and closer to her, she came to realize that this ghost might be darker than she had ever imagined.

When you are confined in a Psychiatric Hospital, you are already considered mentally incapacitated by the psychiatric doctors and nurses and what ever you say, they won’t easily believe it, especially when you are talking about the things you see yet they cannot see. In this film, Kristen is having a breakdown that is why she was brought to the North Bend Psychiatric Hospital. Dr. Stinger (Jared Harris), her therapist, tries to uncover the root cause of her disorder but despite his calm and understanding manner, she resists all attempts of help and rehabilitation. She insists that there is a ghost in that hospital. Will she be able to prove it to them? Find out!
