From the directorial expertise of James Gunn, IFC Films proudly brings you a bombastic comedy movie about an average man who takes on the alter ego of the Crimson Bolt after watching his wife fall under the spell of a charming drug dealer. Starring Rainn Wilson as Frank and also playing the hidden identity of the Crimson Bolt, the film will portray how this average Joe man who is madly in love with his bothered wife Sarah (Liv Tyler), he foolishly transforms into a pseudo superhero named “The Crimson Bolt” when his wife left him to go with Jacques (Kevin Bacon), a smooth-talking drug dealer. Frank almost got insane after his wife left him. But instead of indulging into depression, he later decided that it is better to fight back under the disguise of a DIY superhero called Crimson Bolt. Funny though because with a hand-made suit, a wrench, and a crazed sidekick named Boltie (Ellen Page), he beats his way through the men streets of crime in hopes of saving his wife.
