This time, Jack Sparrow, Captain Jack Sparrow will be accompanied by a foreign-speaking maiden who’s got a penchant for adventure, and sirens that lure sea pilots to their dead. Director Rob Marshall certainly has got what it takes to direct a film with Jerry Bruckheimer.

Anyway, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides captivates the fun, adventure, and lots of guffaw which set the record for the hit franchise. Johnny Depp still holds the charm that only he can pull off with his iconic role as Captain Jack Sparrow. Defying borders and crossing paths with wide-eyed and enigmatic Angelica (Penelope Cruz), he’s uncertain if he’s in love – or if he’s what he thinks she is: a ruthless con artist who’s using him to find the Fountain of Youth. When she holds him at saber’s point to get on board the “Queen Anne’s Revenge,” which is the ship of the legendary pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), Jack stumbles upon the fact that he is on an unexpected adventure in which he’s not sure what to fear more: Blackbeard or Angelica, with whom he has a mysterious past. Geoffrey Rush comes back as the vengeful Captain Hector Balbossa and Kevin McNally as Jack’s Mr. Gibbs. Not to mention Astrid Berges-Frisbey as a mysterious mermaid.
