Iron Clad (2011)

Set for release on July 8, 2011, Ironclad is under the directorial expertise of Jonathan English and it is under the distribution of Mythic International Entertainment. The 2011 forthcoming film stars Kate Mara, Jason Flemyng, Paul Gamatti, Brain Cox, and James Purefoy and the script is written by Director Jonathan English himself, Erick Kastel, Stephen McDool.

Ironclad movie is based on the true story of the great cordon of Rochester castle set during the time of the bitter civil war. It features the uprising movement of a group of eager Knights of the Templar as they defend the Rochester Castle against the tyrannical King John. They can’t seem to take it any longer that they wanted reform, they want to have change in the government system.

It was set in the year 1215 where in the rebel barons of England have forced their despised King John to put his royal seal to the Magna Carts, a noble, seminal document that upheld the rights of free men. I suppose when you watch this film, you will be relating the story to the present nationwide protests we are experiencing these days, especially in the Middle East countries. We can say that before this time, there were already dictatorial rulers in the past and history just repeats itself. And one of them is King John. See how the mighty Rochester castle, a place that would become the symbol of the rebel’s momentous struggle for justice and freedom, battle it out for the people’s rights in this upcoming film.
