Underworld Awakening, as what the title tries to imply, is like waking you up from a great nightmare and letting you face the realities happening into the world. In this film, when the human forces discover the existence of the Vampire and Lycan clans, they started an all-out war to get rid of both immortal species. Each group will not allow the other to interfere with their leadership in the planet. However, on this part of the war, it is not the human forces who are weaker, but the vampires rather. Thus, the vampire warrioress Selene escapes from imprisonment after she found herself in a world where humans rule over the vampires. Her task is not to get rid of all the human forces, but to stop the war that is happening between them. Who will prevail in the end? Will Selene become successful in her personal task? The horror action adventure film is set for release on January 20, 2012 under the distribution of Sony Pictures. Kate Beckinsale stars as Selene in the film and she will be joined by Michael Sheen, Bill Nighy, Michael Ealy, and a lot more.
