But as we grow old, we were taught by our parents to stand on our own and be responsible enough in our actions and decisions in life. The movie “The Tree of Life” features how Jack (Sean Penn) surpasses through the innocence of childhood up to his disillusioned adult years as he tries to reconcile a complicated relationship with his father, role being played by Brad Pitt.

Jack finds himself as a lost soul in the modern world, searching for answers to the origins and meaning of life while questioning the existence of faith.
