This film is a remake of the 1984 Karate Kid which stars Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan. Based on what I have seen on the official trailer of the movie, its quite different from the original Karate Kid version. Jackie Chan as the kid's master mentioned Kung Fu instead of Karate and the setting is in Beijing, China. The film was released in the US last June 11, 2010 and June 10 in Asian countries (like in Singapore and South Korea).
The story surround with Dre, which is a kid from the US who is having a hard time fitting in to the new place where her mother was transferred - China. Here he faces kids who knows martial arts and bully him. That's when Jackie Chan as Mr. Han teach him the art of Kung Fu and let him fight in a tournament to prove himself and earn respect among his peers. It is a fun field of cute and funny stuff of the new version of Karate Kid.

i really loved this movie it was amazing i really LOVE JADEN SMITH. he was so cute and cool and i don’t have any words to describe him because i love him a lot.he has a good body keep it up and hes awesome. LOVE YOU
the movie was an OK…i dont care about the story all i care was Jacky Chan and jaden Smith. I am a huge fan of Jacky Chan. A should watch movie. =)
