Red State, an upcoming film spiced up with the combination of horror and drama, is a film that movie lovers will surely look forward to watch this October. The story of the film focuses on a group of teenagers who surprisingly received an online invitation for sex but it turned out that this invitation came from a group of fundamentalists who have much more sinister and evil agenda instead of the fun and excitement that the teens are expecting. Set in Middle America, the movie Red State is set for release on October 19th, 2011.

In the religious sense, fundamentalism means the act of strict adherence to specific theological doctrines typically in reaction against the theology of Modernism. The term usually has a religious connotation indicating firm attachments to a set of irreducible religious beliefs. With the definition given above, it seems like the kids are definitely in great trouble in what they are entering. In this film, a homophobic preacher will lead his parishioners in a mission of capturing some sexually active teens, may they be gay or straight, and tie them up and held as captives in the inner sanctum of his church where the boys are being murdered in the name of God. One time, another group of teenagers composed of three came across an online personal advertisement which came from an older woman who is looking for some kinky group sex. The teenagers got excited with the offer. But sooner they realized that what begins to be as fantasy turns out to be a driving danger as they come face-to-face with a terrifying fundamentalist force who have a fatal agenda. Now, when the police realized something is amiss, they quickly made actions as they set up a roadblock outside the church as one teen fought for his life.

Starring Melissa Leo, John Goodman, Michael Angarano, Kyle Gallner and Stephen Root, Red State is being written and directed by Kevin Smith and it is scheduled for release on October 19, 2011.
