Real Steel (2011)
Boxing is but a common martial arts sport that we often get to enjoy watching live, in televisions, and even in movies. Probably one of the greatest professional boxing fighters of this generation that every world boxing fan idolizes is the Filipino Champ Manny Pacquiao.
Real Steel is an upcoming movie which centers on the sport of boxing but we are not going to feature great human boxers like Manny Pacquioa here, for this movie will not be featuring humans, but 2,000-pound humanoid robots which will do the battle inside the boxing ring. Let us enter once again the dangerous world of boxing through the movie Real Steel.
Directed by Shawn Levy and under Walt Disney Pictures and DreamWorks Pictures, Real Steel movie stars Hugh Jackman, Evangeline Lilly, Kevin Durand, Anthony Mackie, Dakota Goyo and many others in this upcoming Sci-fi action adventure movie. Real Steel is set to hit to big screen on October 7, 2011.
Real Steel is an action drama film which tells the story if the life of a former boxer (Jackman) who, against all odds, gets one last shot to a huge return in the ring when he teams up with his estranged son (GOYO) to build and train the perfect contender for the new high-tech sport of robot boxing. If boxing is something like this now, then no humans will definitely be harmed inside the ring. But it is still best to see actual human skills being presented inside the boxing ring because this can boost pride, confidence and prestige for the boxer.
Anyway, going back, the future-set story of the film Real Steel will be presenting robot boxing as a popular sport and centered on a struggling promoter who thinks he already found a champion in a discarded robot. This is going to be one hit of a blockbuster movie, I bet!
