I Love You Phillip Morris

Watch this extra-ordinary film by Jim Carrey - I Love You Phillip Morris, based on a true story - a spectacularly charismatic conman’s journey from small-town businessman to flamboyant white-collar criminal, who repeatedly finds himself in trouble with the law and on the lam, brilliantly escaping from the Texas prison system on four separate occasions – all in the name of love. That's right the family man Steven Russell (Jim Carrey) who is happily married to Debbie fall in love with Phillip Morris (Ewan McGregor).

This is where the hilarious and tricky stuff happens in the new movie. He have done anything just to be with his "love of his life" from pretending to be a doctor and walk out the jail, steal a badge and painting his clothing, ordering his release pretending to be a judge, impersonating Morris's lawyer and fraudulently becoming the CFO of a major corporation. He also simulates suffering from AIDS, and forges records to indicate that he died from it.

Imagine what a man can do in the name of love.

The film was released last year in Sundance Festival and was shown in theaters in France last February 2010 and March 2010 in UK. However its release in the US is still indefinite as the distributor of the film decided not to release it yet. At first they were planning it to be released on April 30, 2010 but as of today there's no fix date announced to release in US theaters.
