Good news all ye Glee fans, Gleeks and Gleenians alike! Your favorite musical comedy television show is now moving on to the big screen this August 12, 2011. Can you believe that?

Yes, you heard it right my dear friends. The hit television series Glee is going to bring their wonderful performances into the movie theaters in Glee Live! 3D! movie. The movie is like a 3D concert film which is based on the performances from Glee live! In Concert! A North American Concert Tour made by the entire cast and characters of the film. In here, you will be able to see the performances of the famous singers and dancers of the New Directions as they performed on a concert stage with thousands of live audiences.

Twentieth Century Fox Television and Twentieth Century Fox Film have partnered with Glee creator Ryan Murphy to produce Glee Live! 3D!, somewhat like a documentary film of the blockbuster Glee Live! In Concert! North American tour. The film will only be released for a special two-week limited engagement and it will hit in movie theaters nationwide on August 12, 2011.

Starring the regular casts of Glee including Lea Michelle, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Dianna Agron, Nava Rivera, Heather Morris, Harry Shum, Chord Overstreet, Darren Chris and many others, the film is under the directions of Kevin Tancharoen and it is distributed by 20th Century Fox.

Of course, expect to witness awesome and breathtaking performances coming from the cast of the show including duets, solos, trios, quartet, and group singing.
