It is hard to become a stunt performer because it takes a lot of risks and it involves a lot of dangerous acts. Sometimes, they even perform more dangerous acts that the lead roles but I guess they are being paid less compared to the real actors. But it is not about the fee, but also the pride and honor they gain every time they successfully perform such dangerous acts and make the viewers be stunned in awe and drop their jaws in amusement.

So much of the introductory part, let us move on to our main topic here, the upcoming movie entitled “Drive.” In this film, a Hollywood stunt performer who moonlights himself as a wheelman discovers that a contract he has just signed put him after a heist gone wrong.

Drive is an upcoming American action-packed thriller film directed by Nicolas Winding Refn and the script written by Hossein Amini and Nicholas Winding Refn himself. The film is set to hit in movie theaters on September 16, 2011. Once you are already shooting your stunts in the taping and shooting of films, your safety is really at risk. Even professional stunt persons are getting accidents sometimes because accidents can happen all the time. But despite of all the hardships and the risk given by the stunt persons, they are still being taken for granted sometimes and even their efforts are not being appreciated. I guess there are just some people who believes that the only thing to be recognized in the film are the lead roles, not knowing that the other characters involved in their, especially their doubles, have also contributed in the making of the film.
