Colombiana is an upcoming 2011 drama film that you don't want to miss to watch online or on theaters. The movie tells the story of a young woman who, after seeing that her parents have been murdered when she was still a child in Bogota, she promised to herself that she will seek revenge for her parents’ murder that is why she became a stone-cold assassin. The film is not just filled with drama and a very touching story, it is also jam-packed with action and adventure incorporated into the film.

It is rare for us to hear and see women engaging in spy works and assassination plots. But what motivates women to engage in such dangerous jobs most of the time is the feeling of hatred, rage, and the desire to take revenge on the loss of their loved ones. This is the story of Cataleya Restrepo, the role played by Zoe Saldana, a woman full of hatred and rage due to her parents’ murder.

As she grew old, Cataleya worked for her uncle as a hit man by day, but her personal time is usually spent in engaging in vigilante murders in the hopes that one day, this will lead her to her ultimate and primary target, the mobster responsible for killing her parents.

Directed by Olivier Megaton, the film starring Zoe Saldana, Amandla Stenberg, Callum Blue, Cliff Curtis, Michael Vartan, and Lennie James is scheduled to hit the big screen on August 26, 2011 in the US.
