Arthur Christmas (2011) Poster

I know most of you have experienced writing letters with your requested gifts to Santa Claus each year and you still get what you want but you end up realizing when you were already old that the one sending or giving you gifts are actually your parents. But when you were a kid, I bet you are familiar with this question that most kids usually throw to their parents: “So how does Santa deliver all those presents in one night?”

Yeah, if Santa was really real, how is he able to send all those presents in just one night during Christmas Eve? Why didn’t I think of that! Of course it is not possible because there are billions of little kids in the world and not all of them actually received presents from Santa Claus, only the privileged ones. Anyway, just for the fun of it, your question when you were still a kid will be answered in the upcoming 2011 movie entitled Arthur Christmas.

Arthur Christmas is a 3D CG-animated family comedy film which finally reveals the incredible, never-before seen answer to every child’s question which I have mentioned earlier. So what do you think is the answer? This film reveals that Santa has an exhilarating and ultra high-tech gift-wrapping operation which is hidden beneath the North Pole. Meanwhile, at the center of the film is an incredible story about a family which is in a state of comic dysfunction and an unlikely hero named Arthur who has an urgent mission that must be completed before the Christmas morning dawns.

The film is set for release thic upcoming November 23rd, 2011 (November 11 in United Kingdom) and features the voices of James McAvoy, Hugh Larie, Jim Broadbent, Bill Nighy and Ashley Jensen. The film is written by Peter Baynham and Sarah Smith and it is directed by Barry Cook and Sarah Smith herself.
