And yes you heard it right! These cute and adorable chipmunks are back once again to entertain and inspire us in Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chip-wrecked the movie. This third installment of the computer-animated comedy film franchise is set to hit the big screen on December 16th, 2011 with the 20th Century Fox serving as the distributor of the film. In the film, the chipmunks will be having a vacation aboard on a luxury cruise ship and while playing around inside the ship, Alvin, Simon, Theodore and the Chipettes are up to their usual antics, turning the ship into their personal playground, until they were accidentally thrown overboard and became chipwrecked on a desert island. As Dave Seville worriedly searches for his AWOL charges, the Chipmunks and Chipettes were also busy doing what they usually do best, and that is to sing, dance and cause devastation. While staying in the island, they discovered that their new turf is not as deserted as it seems and that they have company, but they are far different from the people in the city.
