The considered to be second largest U.S. Satellite TV Company, the Dish Network Corp, announced recently that the network will replace three of its AMC Networks channels of the Saturday time slot following a dispute over higher programming fees.
This was definitely one of the most shocking news we have ever heard because some of our favorite TV series are being aired in some of these television networks. The ones who will surely be affected with this change are the Dish subscribers.
Dish is bound to replace AMC Channels IFC, WE and AMC with HDNet, HDNet Movies and Style Channels, leaving its four million subscribers blacked out from TV shows such as Mad Men and The Walking Dead.
However, the company also made sure that they have arranged everything before doing such surprising announcement. The company see to it that it has notified AMC Network earlier this year of its decision not to renew its contract due to the channel
